Koli is the the Nahuatl (Aztec) word for grandpa. I wanted to dedicate this fabric design to my maternal grandpa, since he is the original artist of the painting I used to create this digital fabric design. Even though he is no longer here to see it, I like to imagine that we worked together on this project. He taught us a lot about indigenous cultures in Mexico. Rest in peace, abuelo!
