The Coatl pattern is a digital PDF sewing pattern with instructions and a PDF pattern for sewing an asymmetrical dress or crop top with a side ruffle.

The Coatl pattern is designed to flatter all body types as the gathering at the side makes for a wonderfully feminine silhouette. Whether you go for the dress or top view, the Coatl Pattern ensures a body-hugging fit and is perfect for every day wear as well as festive occasions such as Christmas or New Year’s Eve!

Featuring

– Sizes: A – I (bust measurement 76cm-112cm )
– 4 different views: dress or longsleeve top with either turtleneck or round collar
– Includes: Instructions with illustrations, printing instructions, size chart; PDF pattern.
– Available print sizes: A4, A0, US letter
– Seam allowance of 1cm is included in the pattern
– Sewing skills: beginner friendly!
– Materials needed: printer & paper, scissors & glue or tape, fabric, sewing machine, thread, safety pin.
– Recommended fabric: medium or light weight knit fabrics (e.g. cotton jersey, stretch satin or velvet, etc.)

Sewing tips

It is always advisable to sew a test piece first to check the fit and make any necessary adjustments. This pattern is designed for a B cup and for a body size of 165cm. If the difference between your bust measurement and the upper bust measurement is more or significantly less than 5cm, an adjustment may be necessary to achieve the correct fit.
