The Basic Top pattern is designed to flatter all body types as the fitted top can be combined with all kinds of skirts and pants, making for a wonderfully feminine silhouette. Whether you go for the full-length turtleneck or for crop-top t-shirt version, the Basic Top ensures a body-hugging fit and is perfect for hot summer days as well as stylish fall and winter wear!

– Includes: Instructions with illustrations, printing instructions, size chart, hacking inspo; PDF pattern.
– Available print sizes: A4, A0, US letter
– Seam allowance of 1cm is included in the pattern
– Sewing skills: Beginner!
– Materials needed: printer & paper, scissors & glue or tape, knit fabric, sewing machine, matching thread.
– Recommended fabric: light to medium weight knit fabrics (e.g. cotton or viscose jersey or a rib knit).

Sewing tips

It is always advisable to sew a test piece first to check the fit and make any necessary adjustments. This pattern is designed for a B cup and for a body size of 165cm. If the difference between the bust measurement and the upper bust measurement is more or significantly less than 5cm for you, an adjustment may be necessary to achieve the correct fit.
