The Tonatiuh pattern is a digital PDF sewing pattern with instructions and a PDF pattern for sewing a backless halter top or dress with optional cut-out and skirt ruffles.

The Tonatiuh pattern is designed to flatter all body types as the fitted top and flowing skirt create a wonderfully feminine silhouette. The lace-up back ensures a body-hugging fit and is perfect for hot summer days.

– Sizes: A – I (bust measurement 76cm-112cm )
– 6 different versions: choose between top, short dress or long dress with ruffles. Vary all versions with a cut-out on the top.
– Includes: Instructions with illustrations, printing instructions, size chart, inspirational images; PDF pattern.
– Available print sizes: A4, A0, US letter
– Seam allowance of 1cm is included in the pattern
– Sewing skills: beginner or intermediate.
– Materials needed: printer & paper, scissors & tape, fabric, sewing machine, thread, elastic, safety pin.
– Recommended fabric: woven fabrics such as cotton, viscose, linen or similar fabrics.

Sewing Tips

It is always advisable to sew a test piece first to check the fit and make any necessary adjustments.
When choosing a size, I recommend going by the bust measurement and making a full-bust adjustment (FBA) if necessary. This pattern is designed for a B cup and for a body size of 165 cm. If the difference between the bust measurement and the upper bust measurement is more or significantly less than 5 cm for you, an adjustment may be necessary to achieve the correct fit.
